German Language Course Instructor

Position: German Language Course Instructor Needed
Become a German Language Course Instructor at the University of Winnipeg this Fall. Teach Intermediate German to eager students and foster their language acquisition skills.

The University of Winnipeg is looking for Contract Academic Staff for its Intermediate German course, GERM-, from September 8 to December 7, 2026. Conduct 36 classes on Main Campus, enhancing the linguistic competence of students in a collaborative educational setting. This contract position covers three credit hours and focuses on cultivating effective communication in German.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Intermediate German lesson plans effectively

• Engage students through interactive and practical exercises

• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback

• Coordinate classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings

• Promote a collaborative and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

• At least an MA in German Studies required

• Demonstrated experience in language teaching

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Commitment to diversity and inclusion practices

• Capacity to personalize education to meet diverse needs
