Position: Instructor of ASL at Manitoba Possible
Step into the role of ASL Instructor with Manitoba Possible, where you will teach American Sign Language to enrich the lives of individuals and families in the Deaf community. This position offers a blend of virtual and in-person experience.

As an ASL Instructor, you'll provide comprehensive language instruction as part of the ASL Immersion program. You will work closely with students of varying backgrounds, including those who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and help them embrace Canadian culture. Collaboration within a dedicated team will enable you to foster a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct ASL effectively to public audiences

• Develop customized lesson plans based on individual goals

• Model Deaf culture and language in educational settings

• Conduct assessments and adapt programs as needed

• Compile attendance and progress reports regularly

Requirements:

• Culturally Deaf and ASL fluent

• Teaching experience, formal or informal

• Preferred certification in Signing Naturally

• Familiar with in-person and virtual teaching

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
