Inspire and educate future professionals as a Lab Demonstrator for KIN-2204 at the University of Winnipeg this Fall 2026. This role requires hands-on engagement with students in the lab environment.
The University of Winnipeg is hiring three Lab Demonstrators for the Kinesiology and Applied Health department. Candidates must be undergraduate students with at least 30 completed credit hours, preferably having completed KIN 2204 or BIOL 1112 with a grade of B or higher. This position allows you to enhance your practical teaching skills while ensuring that students receive quality instruction and guidance in their lab work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students on lab techniques and concepts
• Assist in the preparation and safe use of lab equipment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
• Organize course materials and maintain records
• Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback
Requirements:
• Completion of academic studies relevant to the role
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well independently and in teams
• Efficient in following instructions and meeting deadlines
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada
