Position: Training Specialist for First Nations
Make a meaningful impact as a Training and Development Specialist in Winnipeg. Collaborate with First Nations to create impactful training programs that honor traditional practices and enhance family services.

This full-time role, based at the First Nations Family Advocate Office, involves designing and implementing training initiatives for First Nations in Manitoba. You will work closely with the Director of Children and Families to identify needs and develop culturally relevant learning materials and workshops. This position requires a strong understanding of First Nations culture and history to promote community wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify training needs alongside the Director of Children and Families

• Design culturally appropriate training materials and curriculum

• Facilitate presentations and workshops for First Nations

• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments

• Provide coaching support for workshop facilitators

Requirements:

• University degree in Social Sciences or similar

• 3 years of training and development experience

• Knowledge of First Nations culture and history

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
