Position: Contract Instructor in Art History
Join the University of Winnipeg as a Contract Academic Staff member in Art History for the Special Topics course running Winter 2027. This role requires a focus on teaching and developing course content with an emphasis on Indigenous studies.

As part of the Faculty of Arts, you will teach a seminar involving in-depth discussions and assessments related to your specialized topic in art history. The position seeks those with a strong research background in Indigenous art and curatorial studies, and prior university teaching experience is highly valued, as you will actively engage with approximately 15 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging seminars on Special Topics in Art History

• Design course content catering to your research interests

Requirements:

• Post-M.A. studies with at least ABD status

• Robust research and publication history in art history

• Previous experience teaching at the university level
