Join the University of Winnipeg as Contract Academic Staff in Art History for the 2026 fall semester. Teach the course 'Cross Currents in Global Art' and inspire students.
The successful candidate will manage a contract teaching position lasting from August 17 to January 25, 2027. Classes are scheduled from 8:30 AM to 9:20 AM on M/W/F with an enrolment of 60 students. The role requires a minimum of post M.A. studies, with a strong focus on the interplay of art movements and styles. Your expertise will contribute significantly to students' understanding of global art history.
Key Responsibilities:
• Course delivery of 'Cross Currents in Global Art'
• Develop course materials and learning assessments
• Facilitate interactive classroom discussions
• Assess student assignments and provide feedback
• Maintain communication with academic peers
Requirements:

Minimum qualification:
Post M.A. (ABD preferred)
• Previous teaching experience at post-secondary level
• Solid understanding of art historical contexts
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
