ASL-English Instructor

Position: ASL-English Instructor at RRC Polytech
Elevate communication skills as an ASL-English Instructor with RRC Polytech in a full-time role. Engage students through hands-on learning and curriculum development while advocating for the Deaf community.

As a key member of the Health & Community Services team, you will provide classroom instruction, supervise students, and evaluate their progress. Required to bring your expertise in ASL interpretation, you will create an inclusive learning environment while participating in departmental committees. This is your chance to collaborate with a diverse faculty in a supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging ASL interpretation courses

• Guide and evaluate student progress effectively

• Supervise hands-on learning experiences

• Assist in student orientation and graduation activities

• Participate in departmental and College committees

Requirements:

• Post‑secondary degree in ASL-English Interpretation

• Active membership in CASLI

• Significant ASL fluency with current interpreting experience

• Experience working with the Deaf community

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
