Educational Assistant C - Student Support Specialist

Support students with developmental disabilities as an Educational Assistant C in Winnipeg. This role focuses on individualized instruction and general assistance, ensuring educational success for all learners.

Working under the supervision of school leadership, your primary responsibility will be to aid students experiencing educational challenges. You will implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), assist with personal care, and support inclusive education efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support to enhance student learning

• Assist with speech/language therapy and IEP implementation

• Organize educational materials and mark student assignments

Requirements:

• Completed secondary education or equivalent experience

• Minimum 1 year working with educational disabilities

• Valid First Aid and CPR certificates

• Educational Assistant Diploma is an asset

• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification is preferred
