Parent/Child, Pre‑K, and Grade School classes are taught in a clean, fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children develop at their own pace.
The RoleThe Gym Director is a full‑time, career‑level position responsible for the overall success of the location — its people, programs, members, and growth. You will report directly to ownership and run day‑to‑day operations with a high degree of autonomy. The ideal candidate loves teaching great classes and enjoys the leadership work of building a team, hitting goals, and creating an experience families rave about.
WhatYou’ll Own Lead the Team (and the Culture)
- Hire, train, schedule, and develop a team of instructors and front‑desk staff
- Coach your team to deliver consistently excellent classes and outstanding customer service
- Set the energy and standards — you become the example everyone follows
- Teach great classes yourself across our age groups and curriculum
- Ensure every class, party, and interaction meets The Little Gym's high standards
- Build genuine relationships with member families that drive loyalty and retention
- Own day‑to‑day operations and keep the gym running smoothly
- Drive membership growth – convert prospects, retain members, and grow enrollment
- Hit location performance goals and partner with ownership on strategy
- Maintain a clean, safe, well‑equipped facility
- Leadership/management experience – you have led a team and are accountable for results (essential)
- Customer service or sales experience, ideally in a membership, hospitality, fitness, or kids' activity setting
- Strong organization and time‑management skills; you juggle people, schedules, and priorities well
- Excellent communication with kids, parents, and staff alike
- A genuine love of working with children and a willingness to be silly, energetic, and hands‑on
- A background in child development, physical education, gymnastics, or early childhood (a plus, not required – training provided)
- Compensation: $60,000 base + performance bonus
