Adult Literacy Instructor at Neeginan Centre

This role focuses on developing and delivering individualized literacy programming to adult learners specifically at stage
1. Collaborate with colleagues to create Indigenous adult-appropriate learning materials, assess student needs, and implement remedial strategies. Your contribution will enhance the learning journey of beginners while promoting the vision of Neeginan Education, Training and Employment Services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare individualized learning plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with colleagues for effective lesson plan delivery
• Implement and assess remedial programs for Level 1 learners
• Conduct diverse lessons using various teaching methods
• Evaluate student progress through tests and discussions
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Expertise in literacy instruction preferred
• Additional teaching courses may be required
Utilize your instructional skills to foster literacy and support the Indigenous community at Neeginan.
