The University of Manitoba is seeking a Sessional Instructor for the Landscape Design Seminar 1 course. This role is crucial for guiding students through the intricacies of landscape design. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, evaluating student work, and offering support during regular office hours to address learning challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop seminar instructional and assessment materials
• Teach and evaluate students effectively throughout the course
• Mark assignments and exams accurately and promptly
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance student success
• Maintain regular office hours for student engagement
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or Ph.D., or candidate preferred
• Proficient in English communication, oral and written
• Specialized background in landscape design
• Evidence of competence in post-secondary teaching
• Empathetic understanding of student challenges
Contribute to impactful learning experiences at the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Architecture.
