The Department of Counselling Psychology is seeking a dedicated faculty member for a tenure-track position. This role requires a Ph.D. in counselling psychology and exceptional leadership experience in academic environments. You will teach graduate courses, supervise students’ theses, and engage in meaningful research initiatives that enhance the department’s offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach graduate courses in counselling psychology
• Provide thesis supervision and clinical consultation
• Conduct and publish significant scholarly research
• Mentor students with diverse skilled interests
• Spearhead program development initiatives for international and youth counselling
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree in counselling psychology or related area
• Eligibility for registration as a psychologist in BC
• Proven leadership in graduate counselling programs
• Solid research background with publications
• Experience in teaching and clinical supervision
