The University of Manitoba is seeking a qualified instructor for the upcoming CHSC 3004 course, starting January 4, 2027. Ideal candidates will possess a Master's degree or higher and have a strong background in Indigenous health. Your key responsibilities will include preparing instructional materials, teaching classes, marking assignments, and providing constructive feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare course instructional and testing materials
• Teach and assess students' understanding
• Grade exams and assignments thoroughly
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance learning
• Maintain regular office hours for student support
Requirements:
• Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Background in Indigenous health required
• Demonstrated competence in post-secondary teaching
• Empathetic approach to student concerns
