Indigenous Health Sessional Instructor

Teach Decolonizing Perspectives in Indigenous Health as a Sessional Instructor at the University of Manitoba. This position focuses on guiding students through key concepts every Wednesday afternoon.

The Rady Faculty of Health Sciences is seeking a qualified Sessional Instructor for CHSC 3004 A01.

Your role will encompass curriculum preparation, instructional delivery, and student assessments. Engage with students, provide feedback, and maintain office hours to support learning outcomes throughout the semester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare course materials and testing resources

• Instruct and assess students effectively

• Grade exams and assignments in a timely manner

• Offer constructive feedback to enhance student learning

• Maintain regular office hours for student support

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred

• Strong communication skills in English required

• Background in Indigenous health studies preferred

• Proven experience in post-secondary teaching

• Empathetic approach to addressing student needs
