Special Topics Instructor in Art History

The Department of Art History at the University of Winnipeg invites applications for Contract Academic Staff to teach Special Topics in Art History. This role focuses on developing course material and teaching in-person during the Winter 2027 semester.

This position offers an opportunity to showcase your research interests, particularly in Indigenous art history. You will teach a seminar comprising 12 classes for approximately 15 students, emphasizing assessment preparation and student interaction. Candidates with university teaching experience and research expertise are encouraged to apply for this fulfilling role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in the Special Topics Art History seminar

• Post-M.A. studies with minimum ABD status
