Enhance education opportunities at The University of Winnipeg as an Academic Instructor for the course EDUC-. This contract runs from December 4, 2026, to May 14, 2027, engaging students in vital learning experiences.
We are looking for a qualified candidate with a Master's in Education to teach the Elementary Critical Inquiry:
English Language Arts course in the Winter 2027 semester. Responsibilities include preparing lessons and managing classes for 40 projected students, meeting on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 PM to 5:20 PM. This position ensures a rich, inclusive academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures and instructions
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Facilitate inclusive classroom discussions and activities
• Collaborate with faculty to improve course offerings
• Maintain course materials and resources
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Education or a related field
• Proven experience in teaching or educational settings
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to foster an inclusive learning environment
