Join the University of Winnipeg as Contract Academic Staff teaching a criminal justice course. Engage with students in weekly classes from September to December 2026.
The Faculty of Arts is looking for qualified educators to teach Intro to Criminal Justice this fall. You will lead 24 classes, helping to prepare students for their future roles in the field. This contract role supports a dynamic learning environment for about 60 students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and teach the Intro to Criminal Justice curriculum
• Create assessments and facilitate active learning
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
• Hold regular office hours for student assistance
• Provide timely feedback and grades on assignments
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in criminal justice or related area
• Previous teaching experience in post-secondary education
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Current knowledge of criminal justice issues
• Available to start on August 17, 2026
Contribute to the educational landscape in criminal justice at the University of Winnipeg.
