Position: Assistant for University Course Support
Join the University of Manitoba as a Teaching Assistant for ARTS 1110, supporting first-year students in their university journey. Collaborate with faculty to enhance learning experiences.

Positions are available for undergraduate and graduate students starting August 31, 2026. This part-time role will require you to craft educational materials and provide feedback on student submissions. A strong foundation in essay writing and a commitment to equity and inclusion will be essential in connecting with students from various backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend meetings for course staff orientation and planning

• Consult with course supervisor on assigned tasks

• Prepare and present instructional content to students

• Grade student assignments and participate in course evaluations

• Offer additional support through informal consultations

Requirements:

• Must be a current University of Manitoba student with at least 3.0 GPA

• Proficient in English and written communication

• Prior experience in tutoring or leadership roles

• Ability to engage with diverse student populations

• Must maintain full-time student status if international
