Position: Development Specialist for Family Services
Elevate community wellbeing as a Training and Development Specialist in Winnipeg. Engage with First Nations to deliver training programs that foster family reunification and cultural understanding.

In this permanent, full-time role at the First Nations Family Advocate Office, you will collaborate on initiatives that enhance the skills of those serving First Nations families. Focus on integrating traditional knowledge into training materials and conducting impactful workshops. Your work will play a key role in supporting children and families through various training methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director to assess training needs

• Develop instructional guides for culturally relevant training

• Facilitate training sessions in-person and online

• Implement ongoing evaluations of training programs

• Support and coach presenters to improve facilitator skills

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Sciences or similar field

• Minimum 3 years in training and development

• Familiarity with First Nations rights and culture

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
