The University of Winnipeg seeks Contract Academic Staff for the Elem CIA: ELA 2 course starting December 2026. Engage with students in a 24-class format this academic term.
This position offers a contract from December 4, 2026, to May 14, 2027, at the Main Campus. Candidates need a Master's in Education or a related field to facilitate 40 enrolled students. The course runs on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:30 PM to 3:20 PM, offering engaging educational experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Elem CIA: ELA 2 with a focus on student engagement
• Prepare materials and assessments for 24 classes
• Facilitate classes every Monday and Wednesday
• Provide academic support to enrolled students
• Assess student performance and feedback
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Education or a related field
• Strong communication and teaching skills
• Availability for all scheduled classes
• Commitment to equity and inclusion in education
• Prior teaching experience is an asset
