The University of Winnipeg is seeking a Contract Academic Staff member for teaching an Art History course focusing on Italian Renaissance Art. This position offers the chance to shape future scholars in an invigorating environment.
The position encompasses HIST-, scheduled for January 12 to April 6, 2027, providing weekly lectures to a cohort of about 25 students on Tuesday evenings. Applicants must possess post M.A. studies, preferably ABD, and a solid grounding in art history.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead lectures and seminars with clarity and enthusiasm
• Design and implement course evaluations
• Cultivate an intellectually stimulating classroom atmosphere
• Guide students through complex historical concepts
• Keep track of student attendance and progress
Requirements:
• Advanced studies in Art History, minimum ABD
• Relevant teaching experience in higher education
• Strong organizational and planning skills
