Become a part of the Aboriginal Community Campus as a Substitute Teacher. This role focuses on student engagement, working closely with parents and school officials to ensure academic success.
As a Substitute Teacher, you will deliver lessons in humanities, math, science, and academic preparation. You will work between 35 to 40 hours weekly, discussing results and progress with students, parents, and school officials. Your guidance on course selection and vocational advice will significantly impact student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lessons in various subject areas
• Discuss student progress with parents and officials
• Advise students on course selection and personal matters
• Maintain an engaging and supportive classroom environment
• Prepare for classes in advance to ensure smooth transitions
Requirements:
• Degree in Education or related field preferred
• Familiarity with academic subjects taught
• Strong communication skills with students and parents
