Support math education at the University of Winnipeg as a Marker for Math for E/M Teachers II. Engage in grading, record maintenance, and student consultations for fall 2026.
This variable hours role requires effective communication and organization skills to ensure accurate grading of assignments and tests. Ideal candidates should have completed at least 30 credit hours at the University of Winnipeg, with a strong emphasis on mathematics. You will also assist in proctoring tests and provide feedback to students on coursework and submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Grade student assignments and exams using provided guidelines
• Maintain course records and assist in material organization
• Proctor and invigilate tests and quizzes as needed
• Provide feedback to students regarding coursework quality
• Attend training sessions relevant to assigned responsibilities
Requirements:
• Completion of at least 30 credit hours in relevant fields
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in mathematics or statistics preferred
• Legally allowed to work in Canada
