Join the University of Manitoba as a Sessional Instructor for COMP 2002, where you'll help shape the next generation of computer science students. This role focuses on fostering learning through effective instruction.
This position is a part-time appointment running from August 24, 2026, to January 8, 2027, within the Department of Computer Science. Candidates should hold a Master's degree or Ph.D., possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate competence in teaching at the post-secondary level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop relevant instructional and testing materials
• Teach and conduct assessments for students
• Grade exams and provide feedback effectively
• Maintain office hours for student inquiries
• Ensure course material is engaging and educational
Requirements:
• Master’s degree, Ph.D. preferred, or candidate
• Exceptional communication in English required
• Background in computer science is necessary
• Proven teaching experience in the field
• Approach students with empathy and understanding
Contribute to student success as a Sessional Instructor at the University of Manitoba.
