Position: Demonstrator for Physical Activity Course
Empower student success as a Demonstrator for the Sociology of Physical Activity and Leisure course at the University of Manitoba. Engage in preparing materials and marking while fostering a supportive learning environment.

This part-time teaching position will commence on August 31, 2026, within the Faculty of Kinesiology & Recreation Management. Ideal candidates will demonstrate effective English communication and an understanding of student needs. Key tasks include preparing instructional materials and conducting consultations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in orientation and planning meetings for the course

• Create and present instructional materials such as tests

• Evaluate and grade assignments regularly submitted by students

• Support students through scheduled consultation opportunities

• Substitute for teaching staff during their absence

Requirements:

• Completed relevant academic studies in the field

• Warm and empathetic interaction with students

• Proficient English language skills

• Preference for department-registered students

• Valid study permit for international students
