The University of Manitoba is seeking a qualified Sessional Instructor for the Family Violence course (FMLY 2800 N67). This position requires a Master’s degree or Ph.D. and involves preparing instructional materials, teaching, assessing students, and providing feedback. The instructor will maintain regular office hours to support students' learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver engaging instructional materials
• Instruct and assess students through exams and assignments
• Provide constructive feedback for student improvement
• Maintain regular office hours for student consultations
• Support equity and inclusion in educational practices
Requirements:
• Master’s degree, Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidate preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Background in family violence or related fields
• Experience in post-secondary teaching required
• Empathetic approach to student interactions
