Preference will be given to students who have completed the course they are applying for with a B+ or higher. Familiarity with Indigenous‑focused subject matter is preferred.

• Meet with the employment supervisor for orientation, receive grading guidelines, and provide written feedback to students.
• Grade and mark student submissions (tests, exams, projects).
• Provide written feedback on the quality of material presented for grading or marking.
• Maintain regularly scheduled consultation times and offer informal consultations regarding test, exam or project results.
• Assist in the production of tests, exams or projects under the supervision of the designated instructor.

If you are an international student you must have a valid study permit that allows on‑campus work and must be enrolled full‑time at the University of Manitoba for the duration of the appointment.

• Completion of academic studies with expertise appropriate to grading or marking the assigned material.
• An empathetic approach to instructional needs and concerns of students.
• Effective English language skills.

Preference may be given to applicants who are, or will be, registered students in the Department at the time the position commences.
