Position: Contract Instructor for Refugees Resettlement Course
Become a Contract Academic Staff member for the Refugees Resettlement Resilience course at Global College, University of Winnipeg. Engage students this Fall in relevant social issues.

The University of Winnipeg’s Faculty of Arts is looking for qualified instructors for contract positions within the Global College human rights program. Ideal candidates possess a Master's degree and have teaching experience in higher education. You will be responsible for leading a course that explores refugee issues, preparing students for real-world challenges from September to December 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 12 classes on Refugees Resettlement Resilience

• Create a comprehensive course outline or syllabus

• Grade student work and facilitate discussions

• Collaborate with Global College faculty on scheduling

• Promote equitable access to education for all students

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline

• Teaching experience at post-secondary levels preferred

• Commitment to diversity and inclusivity in the classroom

• Strong organizational skills and adaptability

• Capacity to maintain course engagement with students
