Join the University of Manitoba as a Student Instructor for SWRK 7002 A01 and impact future social workers. This role involves teaching, grading, and providing essential student support.
As a part of the Faculty of Social Work, you will teach the course Foundation in Social Work Practice and Profession from August to December 2026. Your responsibilities will include preparing course materials, evaluating students, and offering constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop instructional and assessment materials for SWRK 7002
• Teach and evaluate student understanding through various methods
• Grading assignments and providing detailed feedback
• Offer regular office hours for additional support
• Participate in training for field safety if applicable
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or Ph.D. candidate preferred
• Strong communication skills in English
• Specialization in social work or relevant fields
• Experienced in post-secondary education
• Empathetic towards student concerns
