Teach Intro:
Reading Culture as a contract academic staff member at the University of Winnipeg from August 17, 2026, to January 25, 2027.
The Faculty of Arts at the University of Winnipeg invites applications for a contract academic staff position in the English Department. This role involves teaching ENGL- over 24 classes, focusing on fostering critical discussions about culture. Applicants should have either an MA or MFA to qualify.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead 24 classes engaging 36 students
• Create course assessments and learning materials
• Support diverse learning styles in the classroom
• Provide ongoing feedback and mentorship
• Track student progress and maintain records
Requirements:
• MA or MFA in English literature or related discipline
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities
