Support the Faculty of Agricultural & Food Sciences as a Teaching Assistant for SOIL 3610! Engage students through lectures, labs, and tutorials from August 24 to September 4, 2026.

This part-time position, requiring 20 hours a week at the University of Manitoba, calls for undergraduates or graduates committed to enhancing student learning in Soil Science. Responsibilities include consulting with students, marking assignments, and preparing instructional materials. Your expertise in the course will directly impact students' educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend planning and coordination meetings regularly

• Prepare instructional materials and presentations

• Consult and assist students in scheduled sessions

• Mark assignments and exams for the course

• Participate in field trips and lab activities

Requirements:

• Relevant academic experience in Soil Science

• Empathetic approach to teaching and learning

• Strong English communication skills

• Must be a full-time University of Manitoba student
