The PLNT 4330 A01 Teaching Assistant role spans from September 9 to December 18, 2026, with an expected commitment of up to 42 hours. Engage actively in course planning, instructional material preparation, and provide crucial feedback on assignments, catering to both undergraduate and graduate students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in course orientation and planning meetings
• Develop and present handouts, assignments, and tests
• Assist with marking student submissions and exams
• Schedule consultations for direct student support
• Liaise with the employment supervisor for role direction
Requirements:
• Satisfactory completion of relevant academic courses
• Strong empathetic communication skills with students
• Effective English language proficiency required
• Enrollment as a full-time University of Manitoba student
• Valid study permit necessary for international candidates
Engage with students and maximize their learning experience in the University of Manitoba's Intermediate Plant Genetics course.
