The Department of Psychology is looking for a qualified instructor for the 3-credit PSYC 2380 course. Candidates with Master's degrees or Ph.D. candidates are preferred, especially those with a focus on social and personality psychology. As an instructor, you will prepare and deliver lectures, manage assignments, and engage with students during designated office hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop instructional and assessment materials for the course
• Conduct engaging lectures and tests for students
• Evaluate and grade student assignments thoroughly
• Offer constructive criticism to facilitate learning
• Hold regular office hours for student support
Requirements:
• Master's degree, Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidate preferred
• Strong communication skills in English
• Relevant background in psychology required
• Demonstrated teaching ability in a post-secondary environment
• Understanding of student-centric pedagogical approaches
