Instructor for Gender Psychology Course

Become an Instructor for PSYC 2380 (Psychology of Gender) at the University of Manitoba. This role focuses on teaching, grading, and fostering student success from September to December 2026.

The Department of Psychology is looking for a qualified instructor for the 3-credit PSYC 2380 course. Candidates with Master's degrees or Ph.D. candidates are preferred, especially those with a focus on social and personality psychology. As an instructor, you will prepare and deliver lectures, manage assignments, and engage with students during designated office hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop instructional and assessment materials for the course

• Conduct engaging lectures and tests for students

• Evaluate and grade student assignments thoroughly

• Offer constructive criticism to facilitate learning

• Hold regular office hours for student support

Requirements:

• Master's degree, Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidate preferred

• Strong communication skills in English

• Relevant background in psychology required

• Demonstrated teaching ability in a post-secondary environment

• Understanding of student-centric pedagogical approaches
