The Faculty of Arts at The University of Winnipeg is seeking applications for Contract Academic Staff for the Department of Religion & Culture. This exciting role involves teaching REL-, aimed at engaging students on indigenous perspectives from September to December. You will conduct 24 classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a projected enrolment of 40 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver course content effectively over 24 sessions

• Foster engaging classroom discussions and participation

• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback

• Develop course materials and syllabus

• Collaborate with department faculty on course improvements

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Religion & Culture or related field

• Experience in higher education teaching

• Knowledge of indigenous societies and spirituality

• Commitment to engagement and diversity in education

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
