The University of Winnipeg is seeking applications for Contract Academic Staff in the Department of Developmental Studies. This position focuses on the Speech & Language Disorders course (DEV-3300) and runs from August 19, 2026, to January 26, 2027. Candidates should possess a Master's degree in the subject or a related field and have prior teaching experience at the college or university level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach 15 classes on Wednesdays from 5:30-8:30 PM
• Create engaging lesson plans for course material
• Support students in a hybrid learning environment
• Assess student performance and provide feedback
• Participate in departmental meetings as needed
Requirements:
• Master's degree in subject or related field
• Previous college or university teaching experience preferred
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
• Ability to facilitate hybrid learning
• Canadian citizens and permanent residents given priority
