Grader for 1000-Level Computer Science

The University of Manitoba is hiring Graders for courses COMP 1000, 1010, 1012, and 1020. This position requires a good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and programming languages. Successful candidates will meet with instructors, grade submissions, and deliver constructive feedback to help students improve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend orientation meetings with employment supervisor

• Grade assignments, tests, and projects submitted by students

• Provide written feedback on submissions

• Schedule consultation times for student inquiries

• Assist in producing tests and projects as required

Requirements:

• Academic background relevant to grading responsibilities

• Empathetic approach to student concerns and needs

• Strong English language skills

• Preferred: A in relevant coursework or demonstrated expertise

• Enrollment as a full-time student at the University
