The Department of Environment and Geography is seeking a qualified individual for the 2026 semester. The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s or Ph.D., excellent communication skills, and experience in post-secondary teaching. This role engages with critical societal themes on a 3-credit course basis while supporting diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare instructional materials relevant to the course
• Instruct and assess student performance
• Mark exams and assignments thoroughly
• Provide constructive feedback on student progress
• Maintain office hours for student consultations
Requirements:
• Master’s degree, Ph.D. or candidate preferred
• Strong communication skills in English
• Background in social justice or environmental studies
• Proven post-secondary teaching competence
• Empathetic approach to student instruction
