The Department of Religion and Culture at the University of Manitoba is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the Introduction to the Study of Religion course. This position, spanning January 6 to April 30, 2027, offers 0 to 20 hours of work weekly. Responsibilities include preparing handouts, marking student assignments, and attending lectures to provide further academic support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend orientation and planning meetings
• Prepare instructional materials and assessments
• Consult students during office hours
• Assist in grading midterms and final exams
• Substitute for teaching staff as needed
