Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes Indigenous language, culture, and traditions.
Collaborate with educational assistants, support staff, families, and community members to support student growth.
Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to parents and school leadership.
Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and community-based events.
Qualifications Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education focus preferred).
A valid Saskatchewan Professional "A" Teaching Certificate.
Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
Knowledge and understanding of First Nations culture, values, and language (an asset).
Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Current Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
Assets Previous experience teaching in a First Nations or culturally diverse environment.
Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and holistic education.
