Instructor Openings in Respiratory Therapy

The Department of Respiratory Therapy is hiring full-time Instructors, ranging from Instructor I to Senior Instructor, effective January 1, 2027. Excellence in teaching is paramount.

We welcome applications from established or emerging scholars dedicated to advancing respiratory therapy education. Candidates should embody clinical expertise and engagement in andragogical practices. Responsibilities include teaching responsibilities in various formats and curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct undergraduate courses through multiple delivery methods

• Lead the development and assessment of coursework

• Facilitate online learning and comprehensive curriculum

• Deliver public presentations promoting respiratory therapy

• Foster collaboration within the educational team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years clinical respiratory therapy experience

• Required diploma and bachelor’s degree in the field

• Master’s Degree either completed or in progress

• Must be eligible for licensure in Manitoba

• Experience in diverse educational environments
