As part of the Department of Computer Science, the University of Manitoba is filling multiple Grader/Marker roles starting September 2, 2026. Work involves grading assignments for COMP 1000, 1010, 1012, and 1020, with up to 10 hours weekly. This position is ideal for students looking to deepen their understanding of Computer Science while providing vital academic support to peers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend orientation and receive grading instructions
• Accurately grade student tests and projects
• Provide written feedback enhancing learning
• Hold posted consultation hours for student questions
• Assist with test and project creation as necessary
Requirements:
• Proven expertise in relevant Computer Science courses
• Empathy towards student needs and concerns
• Effective communication in English
• Candidates should be registered full-time students
• Valid study permit required for international applicants
