Become a Grader/Marker within the Computer Science Department at the University of Manitoba. This position involves evaluating coursework and assisting students with insightful feedback.
The University of Manitoba is recruiting Graders for COMP 4000-level courses. Candidates should have a strong grasp of Computer Science concepts and programming languages, with at least an A in relevant courses being favored. Applicants must communicate their availability and course preferences clearly in their cover letter.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet with supervisors for orientation and grading protocols
• Assess student submissions including tests and projects
• Deliver written feedback to enhance student understanding
• Maintain availability for student consultations
• Help produce assessments under supervision
Requirements:
• Relevant academic expertise suitable for grading assignments
• Empathetic communication skills towards student learning
• Strong command of English
