Join Upper Canada Child Care as a Full-Time Assistant Educator in Alliston, Ontario. Focus on play-based learning while managing split-shift responsibilities for children's programs.
We are on the lookout for an Assistant Educator for a split-shift position. Your primary role will be to facilitate a nurturing environment, enhance child's developmental experiences, and apply early education principles according to Ministry guidelines. Additionally, actively communicating with families is crucial to building relationships and improving learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Ministry of Education curriculum expectations
• Provide meals, toileting, and care assistance
• Conduct program documentation using Storypark
• Maintain communication with parents regarding their children
• Collaborate with staff on educational strategies
Requirements:
• Valid health assessment and immunization proof
• Certification in CPR-C and First Aid
• Familiarity with child development knowledge
• Experience with inquiry-based learning approaches
• Ability to develop relationships with children and families
