Become an ENGAP Tutor and support student learning at the University of Manitoba. This role involves assisting students with course concepts and challenges while contributing to their academic success.
The University of Manitoba seeks an ENGAP Tutor for the academic year from September 1, 2026, to August 27, 2027. This part-time role allows 0-10 hours of tutoring per week, catering to the needs of students. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, marking assignments, and providing consultations to students needing guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend orientation and planning meetings as required
• Prepare and present instructional materials in various formats
• Mark student work for tutorials, labs, or seminars
• Maintain regular consultation times for student support
• Adapt teaching materials and participate in additional related tasks
Requirements:
• Relevant academic background and tutoring experience
• Empathetic approach to student instructional needs
• Strong proficiency in the English language
• Enrollment as a full-time student at the University of Manitoba
