Completing a minimum of 400 hours of in-person teaching within a 10-month school year in these communities unlocks $4,000 in federal loan forgiveness in the first year, increasing annually up to a maximum of $8,000 in the fifth year.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education
Must be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate
Effective organization and classroom management skills
Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience or familiarity analyzing data and using data to inform decision and/or instruction
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
