Part-Time Student Services Teacher

Position: Part-Time Student Services Teacher Role
Elevate educational equity at Highbury School as a Part-Time Student Services Teacher, beginning September 8, 2026. This role focuses on fostering meaningful engagement and support for all learners.

As a key member of the school's student services team, you will develop and oversee Student Specific Plans (SSPs) tailored to individual student needs.

This role offers an opportunity for educators to strengthen their impact through collaborative approaches and culturally responsive teaching methods. You will also contribute to the professional capacity of colleagues in creating an environment of inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement Student Specific Plans for students

• Build collaborative partnerships with educators and support staff

• Implement trauma-informed strategies for student engagement

• Facilitate effective transitions between educational settings

• Support culturally responsive educational practices

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of teaching experience required

• Post graduate education in Special Education preferred

• Experience with individual education plans for diverse needs

• Ability to collaborate across various teams and programs

• Commitment to promoting equity in educational practices
