Position: FRENCH EDUCATION ASSISTANT

Term to June 30, 2027
Full-time (1.0 FTE)
Preferred qualifications include:

Early Childhood Education Diploma or Teaching Assistant Diploma preferred

Experience working with students or youth with complex needs

Ability to work and communicate with non-verbal students

Ability to provide regulation support and behavioural intervention

Ability and willingness to provide intimate care, toileting, and feeding support for students

Experience and/or training in education environments

Ablity to physically support students, these positions can be physically challenging

Proven ability to work independently

Patience and experience working with children with unexpected behaviours

The ability to be flexible/adaptable and committed to contributing to the wider school community

Experience in working as part of a collaborative team and possess strong communication skills

Show initiative and flexibility in working with students from JK to Grade 12.

High School Diploma

Clear Criminal Record Check

Trained in First Aid and CPR
