Educational Assistant C School Division

This role involves assisting individual or small groups of students facing learning difficulties under the guidance of teachers. Your responsibilities will include providing instructional support, facilitating speech therapy, and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEP). Additionally, you will assist with personal care, safety monitoring, and student supervision during various activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional assistance to students facing difficulties

• Assist in speech/language therapy and IEP implementations

• Organize educational materials for programs

• Supervise students during lunches and recreational activities

• Observe and report on student behavior and progress

Requirements:

• Secondary education or equivalent experience

• Minimum 1 year with students facing challenges

• Valid First Aid and CPR certificates

• Educational Assistant Diploma preferred

• Clear Child Abuse Registry check
