At Prep Academy Tutors, you'll be responsible for delivering academic support to high school students and aligning your sessions with the Ontario curriculum. You'll craft supplemental assignments tailored to help strengthen understanding and mastery of math concepts. Regular communication with parents and guardians is essential to monitor progress and strategize for enhancing student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive math tutoring for grades 9 to 12
• Create customized supplemental learning assignments
• Offer both remedial and enrichment math support
• Engage with parents for progress updates and strategy discussions
• Adapt teaching methods based on student feedback
Requirements:
• Experience in teaching mathematics or tutoring high school students
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Energetic and dedicated to exceptional educational outcomes
• Ability to meet students in their homes within the Durham Region
• OCT certification or current enrollment in Education degree required
