Position: Infant & Toddler - Early Childhood Educator II at Bridgwater Montessori Academy

We are a private Montessori school seeking a dedicated ECE II (Early Childhood Educator Level II) to join our team. As an ECE II, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care and education to young children.

Only those with a ECE II certification valid in Manitoba will be considered for this position. Knowledge of the Montessori Method is an asset but not required. Montessori training can be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Plan engaging activities for infants outside.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in a classroom setting.
  • Provide care to children while nurturing their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Create a safe and stimulating environment that supports learning and exploration.
  • Collaborate with other educators and parents to ensure the well-being of each child.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
  • Must hold a ECE II certification valid in Manitoba.
  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Not afraid to get their hands dirty.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Ability to educate and engage young children effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
